Senj today was a formerly Senia, a settlement by the Romans and in the prehistoric times. Senj is a crossroad of sorts between the major Croatian cities of Zagreb, Rijeka and Zadar. The Art Bed and breakfast is intended to be a welcome heaven for travellers in search of rest during their long journeys, or as a starting point in the exploration of the Velebit Nature Park and nearby National parks such as Northern Velebit, Paklenica and Plitvice lakes.

At the base of Velebit Nature Park and in close proximity to three national parks is Hotel ''Nehaj'', located in the heart of Senj, a city whose numerous cultural and historical monuments and archaeological remains are witness to the colourful past of these parts, which were once a significant center in Croatia.
